I’m a male 26 year old Belgian (complete) amateur having fun in the kitchen. And other peoples kitchens. I like to dine out as much as I like to go crazy with overly complicated recipes I find in books that should remain on the coffee table for non-professionals like myself. But then again, where’s the fun if you don’t push yourself to your limits (and beyond)? That being said, I do enjoy the more simple things as well (yes, I’m thinking about those absolutely delicious pancakes from the Robouchon cookbook)!
Outside of the kitchen I work at the university trying to come up with some clever new theories in applied mathematics. That also includes travelling around a bit, something I’ll happily brag about in my posts. It also implies a soft spot for the science-food combination.
I think that should give you at least a glimpse to my life!
